Centium was founded by Michael Rueckert when he couldn't find answers to a critical question: how do AI models recommend the hospitality brands he manages?
As Marketing Disruptor of the Year (Utah Business, 2024) and leader of the Marketing Team of the Year (Utah Business, 2025), Michael oversees marketing for hotels and resorts spanning three states.
The challenge emerged from watching early AI developments. Michael saw that AI agents would eventually handle booking decisions autonomously. If AI didn't know about his brands, they'd lose the next generation of decision making.
No tools existed to understand AI recommendation, so Michael built his own research methodology to decode how AI models evaluate hospitality brands. What started as curiosity evolved into Centium.
The result? Research designed by someone who actually uses it to drive business results.
